Skill: Excel, SQL, R, Python, and Tableau
Time frame: Aug 2024 - Dec 2024
Further Description:
Within our small group team we completed two capstone projects. The first capstone project was focused on analyzing crash data from the city of San Jose to support the Transportation Department in enhancing the city's road network. We highlighted a decline in reported crashes since March 2024, with high crash concentrations at key intersections, and recommended further investigation and safety improvements for pedestrians and vehicles. The second capstone project was focused on analyzing an advertising campaign across location, audience, creativity and inventory in order to provide actionable insights and recommendations to improve business. Our team identified key insights such as high-performing segments like "Auto Buyers" and areas for improvement in cost per aquisition and viewability, recommending adjustments such as excluding underperforming regions, focusing on cost-effective ad placements, and optimizing creative and inventory strategies.
